We’re working with a top-performing secondary school , rated Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted, to find a dedicated Social Science Teacher to join their thriving sixth form and wider humanities faculty.

The Role:

  • Teach Social Sciences across the 11–18 age range , with a focus on A Level Psychology, A Level Sociology , and/or BTEC Health & Social Care

  • Create and develop schemes of work, lesson resources, and revision materials

  • Deliver engaging lessons that stretch and challenge students

  • Contribute to a collaborative department committed to curriculum innovation and exam success

  • Support students to achieve excellent academic outcomes and nurture their wider personal development

  • The Ideal Candidate:

  • A well-qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Social Sciences

  • Confident delivering exam and/or coursework-based qualifications

  • Able to teach at least two of the following: A Level Psychology, A Level Sociology, BTEC Health & Social Care

  • Skilled at building rapport, raising aspirations, and influencing learning outcomes

  • Collaborative, organised, and committed to professional growth

  • Pay rate dependent on qualifications and experience
