We’re working with supportive secondary schools across Shrewsbury looking for confident and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join them ASAP on a long-term, full-time basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a real impact both inside and outside the classroom.

Whether you’ve worked in schools before or you’re bringing transferable experience from coaching, youth work, mentoring, care, or support roles, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll play a huge part in helping students stay engaged, build confidence, and feel supported throughout their school day.

The role:

  • Full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant positions in secondary schools across Shrewsbury
  • ASAP starts available
  • Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Providing classroom support alongside teaching staff
  • Delivering small group interventions and 1:1 support where needed
  • Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs
  • Helping to create positive and inclusive learning environments
