We're looking for compassionate and resilient Teaching Assistants to work in specialist schools across Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley, supporting children and young people with a range of complex learning needs. If you're experienced in personal care and moving and handling, and you're passionate about helping every child reach their potential, we'd love to hear from you. What you'll be doing Supporting pupils with complex learning needs, autism, PMLD, physical disabilities and additional needs Assisting with personal care, ensuring pupils are treated with dignity and respect at all times Using moving and handling techniques safely and confidently Encouraging communication, independence and emotional wellbeing Working closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals to create a positive learning environment Helping pupils take part in classroom activities and celebrate every achievement, no matter how big or small We're looking for someone who Has experience supporting children or adults with complex needs Is confident providing personal care and moving and handling support Is patient, caring and able to build positive relationships Works well as part of a team Has a genuine passion for supporting children with SEND Why work with Protocol Education?
