Your role as a Behaviour Mentor will involve:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis who may display Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH)
- De-escalating challenging situations in a calm and confident manner while maintaining a safe and positive learning environment
- Building strong, trusting relationships with children, becoming a positive and reliable presence in their school life
- Working closely with the class teacher and staff to implement behaviour strategies and individual support plans
- Contributing to a whole-school approach to positive behaviour management
- Using restorative approaches to help students understand and reflect on their actions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
