The Role:

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to help our pupils reach their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support children's learning, provide targeted interventions, and promote positive behaviour in the classroom.

Responsibilities:

  • Support individual pupils or small groups with learning activities
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and monitoring progress
  • Help implement personalised learning plans and interventions
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence
  • Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND where required
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with primary-aged children
  • Understanding of child development and learning strategies
  • Patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic about helping children succeed
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Level 2 or 3 teaching assistant qualification (preferred, but not essential)
