SEN Teaching Assistant – Redcar

Location: Redcar
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term

We are looking for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive school in Redcar . This role is perfect for individuals who are motivated to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and contribute positively to their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN

  • Assist teachers with differentiated lesson delivery

  • Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and emotional well-being

  • Support the creation of a safe and inclusive classroom environment

  • Modify learning resources to meet individual student needs

  • Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with SEN learners

  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive mindset

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
