About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, proactive and hands-on School Site Supervisor to join a busy secondary school in Redcar. This is a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, well-maintained and fully operational throughout the school day. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, carrying out basic maintenance, supporting health & safety compliance, and ensuring the school environment is clean, secure, and welcoming for students, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the school site daily
- Carrying out routine maintenance, repairs and minor DIY tasks
- Monitoring site security and responding to alarms/callouts where required
- Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained across the site
- Liaising with contractors and supervising external works
- Conducting regular site checks and risk assessments
- Supporting cleaning and facilities teams as needed
