The successful candidate will be passionate about education and looking for a rewarding role supporting students aged 11-16 years in reading across the school. You must be a graduate and have high levels of literacy and reading.

THE ROLE:

  • Support READING KS3-4 (SECONDARY STUDENTS)
  • The pupils have a wide range of individual needs; therefore, you will be responsible for aiding these pupils to become independent learners while supporting them to achieve their personal learning targets & goals.
  • You will be supporting 1-1 & small groups.
  • The successful candidate will have experience working with young people aged 11-16 years, hold strong communication skills & be flexible when supporting the ever-changing needs of pupils.
  • The role involves monitoring specific pupils’ progress towards meeting their individual targets, working closely with the pupils to review and set new targets & keep accurate/up to date records of pupil progress.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
