Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Teacher to join our team and deliver engaging, accessible lessons on a one to one basis with a primary age student with autisim, This role will include supporting the student with the whole curriculum which is delivered by other tutors.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your expertise will help student overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential., * Plan and deliver high-quality Maths or Science lessons for SEND students, adapting content to suit individual learning needs.

  • Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, and other professionals to ensure tailored learning plans are in place.

  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and relevant professionals.

  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to engage and thrive.

  • Support students’ social and emotional development alongside academic progress.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Maths or Science.

  • Experience working with SEND students in an educational setting.

  • Strong understanding of SEND strategies and how to differentiate teaching to accommodate a range of learning needs.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.

Desirable:

  • Additional qualifications in SEND or experience working in a specialist SEND school.

  • Experience with specific SEND needs such as Autism, ADHD, or SEMH.
