Protocol Education is working with several fantastic Primary SEN schools across Bristol and North Somerset, looking for enthusiastic teachers to join their teams this September. You’ll be supporting pupils with a range of needs—including autism, communication challenges, learning difficulties, and social-emotional needs—delivering tailored, meaningful lessons that help every child thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Teaching small groups or 1:1 across EYFS–KS2
Adapting lessons for pupils with EHCPs and additional needs
Collaborating with TAs, therapists, and families
Creating a safe, inclusive space where students can flourish emotionally and academically
QTS or equivalent
SEN teaching experience or a strong interest in SEN
Creativity, patience, and a genuine belief in every child’s potential
Confidence in adapting the primary curriculum
