Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: 110 - 130 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons
  • Assisting with the preparation of classroom materials
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with learning difficulties
  • Supervising students during activities and break times
  • Assisting with student assessments and record keeping

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Enhanced DBS check

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working with children in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning processes
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid certification
  • Additional relevant training or qualifications in education or childcare

Working Conditions:

  • Working hours may vary and could include occasional evening or weekend work
  • Work will be conducted in a classroom environment with young children
  • May involve some physical activities such as setting up classroom equipment
