Protocol Education are working with a primary school in Tynemouth who are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support a Year 3 class, starting immediately and continuing until the end of the summer term. This is a full-time, long-term role within a supportive KS2 team, ideal for an experienced HLTA who is confident leading learning and supporting pupils to make progress.

The Role

As an HLTA, you will be supporting learning across the Year 3 classroom and delivering pre-planned lessons when required. You will work closely with the class teacher and wider staff team to ensure pupils remain engaged, supported, and making consistent progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting teaching and learning across Year 3
  • Delivering interventions and small group support
