A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Newham is seeking a passionate and dynamic PE Teacher for a full-time, long-term role starting this September. The ideal candidate will be confident delivering PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to inspire students of all abilities to enjoy sport, stay active, and develop healthy habits for life.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality PE lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Teaching a range of sports and physical activities, both indoor and outdoor
• Preparing students for practical and written assessments at KS4, including GCSE PE
• Promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and resilience through extracurricular clubs and competitions
• Managing equipment and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students
• Supporting whole-school wellbeing initiatives and sports enrichment activities

You Will Be a Great Fit If You:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Have experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school setting
• Are committed to student development through physical activity and healthy living
• Can deliver a broad and balanced PE curriculum to engage learners of varying abilities
• Are energetic, proactive, and enthusiastic about extra-curricular sport and fitness
• Can maintain high standards of behaviour and motivation in both practical and theory lessons

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
