The Role
As a Science Technician, you will:
- Prepare and set up practical experiments for Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons
- Maintain laboratories, equipment and specialist resources
- Ensure chemicals and equipment are stored safely in line with health and safety regulations
- Support teachers during practical lessons where required
- Order, organise and monitor stock and laboratory resources
- Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning and calibration of equipment
- Promote a safe, organised and engaging practical learning environment
You’ll play a vital role in helping students experience exciting, hands‑on science lessons while supporting a successful Science department.

We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Science Technician or
- A degree or qualification in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or another Science-related subject
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of laboratory health and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Someone who is proactive, reliable and passionate about supporting young people's learning
