You’ll be working closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication differences. • Working closely with the class teacher to adapt activities and resources
  • Using de-escalation techniques when needed, always with a calm, reassuring approach

Who this role is perfect for:

We’re open-minded on background, what matters most is your attitude, empathy, and ability to connect with children. You might be:

  • A psychology graduate looking to build experience in child development, education, or educational psychology
  • An experienced SEND Teaching Assistant ready for a new setting
  • Someone who has worked in care, youth work, or support roles and is looking to move into education
  • Confident, calm, and naturally patient when things don’t go to plan

This primary school has a strong commitment to inclusive education and supporting pupils with additional needs.
