A primary school in Benwell Grange, Newcastle is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who’s ready to bring calm, confidence, and consistency across all key stages. You’ll join a warm and welcoming school community that values teamwork, clear routines, and strong relationships. What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting teachers across KS1, KS2, and KS3 to deliver engaging lessons
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to help pupils reach their goals
  • Using excellent behaviour management to maintain a positive, productive classroom
  • Helping children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to adapt activities and celebrate progress

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant across multiple key stages
  • Strong behaviour management and the ability to build rapport quickly
  • A proactive, flexible attitude and genuine passion for education
  • Experience supporting pupils with additional needs (desirable)
