The role:
- Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available for suitable candidates)
- Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons covering physical and human geography
- Develop pupils’ analytical, evaluative, and enquiry skills
- Differentiating effectively to support pupils of mixed abilities, including those with SEND
- Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Work collaboratively within the Humanities department and wider staff team
This role is suitable for ECTs, experienced teachers, and those returning to the profession. We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)
- Has experience teaching Geography in UK secondary schools
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management
- Is committed to inclusive practice and safeguarding
- Is adaptable, reliable, and professional
- Is happy to work PAYE, with clear and transparent pay
Pay & contract:
- £163–£265.92 per day, depending on experience
- Weekly PAYE pay – no umbrella companies, no hidden deductions
- Long-term and day-to-day supply opportunities available, with potential for continuity
