Protocol Education is working with a number of welcoming schools across Wandsworth who are looking for support staff to join their Enhanced Learning Provisions. These settings support pupils who need a little extra structure, reassurance and encouragement to thrive at school.
This isn’t a role where you stand on the sidelines. You’ll be right there, building trust, offering consistency and helping pupils believe in themselves, sometimes for the very first time.
What your days will involve:
- Supporting pupils with additional learning, behavioural or emotional needs
- Working closely with teachers and SEN teams to keep days calm, safe and purposeful
- Helping young people regulate emotions, stay engaged and feel understood
- Creating a supportive environment where progress feels achievable, even on tough days
We’re looking for people who:
- Are patient, resilient and genuinely care about young people
- Have experience in schools, SEND, youth work, care or similar settings, or are keen to learn
- Stay calm under pressure and don’t take challenging moments personally
