We are working with a well-known SEN school in Teesside who are seeking learning support assistants/classroom support workers. You will be supporting students with their academic, personal and social development. You will be supporting learners with Autism, moderate learning difficulties and varying levels of behaviour in a specialist learning environment. Emotional resilience and an ability to engage learners who may have had a negative experience of education is a must; ideally, you will have experience working in a similar environment.

Hours: 8:30-3:30 Mon-Fri

Working in a similar environment or other experience of working with young people who may present challenging behaviours. An ability to be proactive, creative and empathetic. To adhere to the school's policies and practices.

Excellent daily rates paid weekly through PAYE (No Umbrella Companies!). Access to a dedicated SEN consultant.

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
