Start Date: ASAP

Protocol Education is working closely with secondary schools in Middlesbrough to recruit a Science Teacher to provide teaching and cover support across KS3 and KS4. This role is suitable for QTS-qualified teachers, ECTs, and experienced cover supervisors or teaching assistants with strong Science knowledge.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging Science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics).
  • Provide high-quality cover and classroom support when required.
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students’ academic progress and behaviour management.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS or has strong classroom experience in Science (teachers, cover supervisors, or TA cover).
  • Confident managing a classroom across KS3–KS4.
  • Passionate about Science and education.
  • Flexible, reliable, and proactive.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
