Protocol Education is working closely with secondary schools in Middlesbrough to recruit a Science Teacher to provide teaching and cover support across KS3 and KS4. This role is suitable for QTS-qualified teachers, ECTs, and experienced cover supervisors or teaching assistants with strong Science knowledge.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging Science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics).
- Provide high-quality cover and classroom support when required.
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students’ academic progress and behaviour management.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS or has strong classroom experience in Science (teachers, cover supervisors, or TA cover).
- Confident managing a classroom across KS3–KS4.
- Passionate about Science and education.
- Flexible, reliable, and proactive.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
