Protocol Education is working with secondary schools across Middlesbrough to recruit a Physics Teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality science lessons across KS3 and KS4. This role is suitable for QTS-qualified teachers, ECTs, and experienced cover supervisors or teaching assistants with strong Physics subject knowledge.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Physics lessons, covering both theoretical concepts and practical investigations.
- Provide effective classroom cover when required.
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all students.
- Maintain strong behaviour management and a safe, positive learning environment.
- Support students in developing problem-solving, analytical, and scientific thinking skills.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS or has relevant classroom experience in Physics (teachers, cover supervisors, or TA cover).
- Confident teaching Physics across KS3–KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Reliable, adaptable, and proactive.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
