We’re working with a welcoming and well-run secondary school in Middlesbrough looking for an enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join their languages department. The team is supportive, behaviour is well-structured, and there’s a strong focus on helping pupils enjoy languages, not just memorise vocabulary.
The role includes:
- Teaching French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available if you’re keen
- Planning and delivering engaging, interactive lessons that build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
- Supporting pupils of mixed abilities and encouraging a love of languages
- Working closely with a collaborative and friendly MFL team
- Maintaining positive behaviour and clear classroom routines
The school is looking for someone who:
- Holds UK QTS (or is working towards it)
- Has experience teaching MFL in a UK secondary school
- Can teach French, Spanish, or both confidently
- Brings energy, organisation, and a calm classroom presence
