We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Middlesbrough. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to inspire students across a range of Humanities subjects, including History, Geography and Religious Education.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and effective Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and report on student progress.
- Support the wider school community and contribute to departmental success.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Recent UK classroom experience teaching Humanities subjects.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to provide professional references covering recent employment.
