We are currently working with a secondary school in Middlesbrough seeking to appoint an ambitious and inspirational Head of Humanities for September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Humanities teacher or existing middle leader looking to lead a successful department and drive high standards across the curriculum.
The successful candidate will:
- Lead and develop the Humanities department across KS3 and KS4
- Deliver high-quality teaching within their specialist subject area
- Drive progress, attainment and curriculum development
- Support, challenge and develop staff within the department
- Promote a culture of high expectations, engagement and achievement
