The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.

Start full time 8:15am-3:30pm (students aged 11-16 years). You will have sessions with 1:3 students and will have a full timetable in school supporting Year 7-11 in Maths within small groups. These focused groups allow individualised targets and guidance. These pupils are reviewed half-termly to allow as many students as possible to have access to high quality support in literacy and numeracy.

The successful candidate will hold a degree & have tutoring experience OR be confident to deliver maths interventions. Roles & responsibilities include:

  • Delivering tailored programmes which complement ongoing class work, learning objectives and assessment plans along with the class teacher.
  • Working 1-1 or in small groups with students who are falling behind academically to ensure they achieve in upcoming exams.
  • Adapting the content, style, format of the tuition to ensure the most effective results are achieved.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils and school contacts through session delivery, review meetings, tuition progress reports and feedback.

Successful candidates will:

  • Have great subject knowledge and the ability to plan and communicate it effectively in 1:1 or small group settings.
  • Be flexible and committed to delivering engaging, challenging, and developmental sessions over the course.

Rate dependent on qualifications and experience. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
