Are you an Occupational Therapist who believes every child deserves the tools to thrive, communicate, and feel independent? We’re working with a welcoming and well-resourced SEN school in Nottingham looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in specialist education and is passionate about supporting pupils with autism, SEMH, physical disabilities, and complex learning needs to access both learning and everyday activities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assessing pupils’ sensory, motor, and functional needs within the school environment
- Delivering engaging, individualised therapy sessions and group interventions
- Creating sensory diets, therapy plans, and classroom strategies that support access to learning
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, speech and language therapists, and families
- Contributing to EHCP targets, reviews, and progress reports
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school or paediatric setting)
- Knowledge of sensory integration and functional skill development
- A nurturing, adaptable, and creative approach
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
