Protocol Education are looking to recruit a learning support assistant/teaching assistant to join a SEND provision in Southend. The students that attend the schools have a variety of special needs, either ASD/Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs (SEMH)/complex learning disabilities or have been identified as having a statement of an educational need. Therefore, a desire to assist in this area is required, but no experience is necessary!

All staff work to inspire, motivate, challenge and support each pupil, no matter what their individual needs may be. A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important.

This is a long-term, full-time position so we are looking for candidates to be available 5 days a week between the hours of 8:30am-15:30pm. If you have a real passion for supporting children with special needs and think this role sounds right for you then please apply now!
