Protocol Education is working with a well-regarded and welcoming primary school in Islington, rated Good by Ofsted, who are seeking a committed Year 3 Teacher to join their team from January 2026 to July 2026. The school offers a calm, purposeful learning environment where pupils are well behaved, motivated, and proud of their school values. You will be working alongside a supportive, forward-thinking staff team who collaborate closely to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
What you’ll be doing:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Adapting teaching to meet the needs of pupils with diverse abilities
- Assessing, recording, and monitoring pupil progress to inform next steps
- Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning, and achievement
- Contributing positively to the wider life of the school
You’ll need:
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting (UK curriculum)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A reflective approach to teaching, using assessment to drive progress
- A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
