About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside class teachers to help create a supportive learning environment where pupils can flourish. Every day brings something different, giving you the chance to gain valuable experience across a range of year groups and school settings. Your duties may include:
- Supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Providing 1:1 support and leading small group interventions
- Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence and engagement
- Assisting with classroom organisation and lesson preparation
- Promoting positive behaviour and helping to maintain a welcoming classroom environment
- Supporting children with a range of learning needs
Who We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from individuals who:
- Have a genuine enthusiasm for working with children
- Are reliable, adaptable and eager to learn
- Communicate confidently and work well as part of a team
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Have previous experience in a school setting (desirable but not essential)
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to apply for one through Protocol Education
