Teaching Assistant – Level 3 Health & Social Care
Location: Ladbroke Grove, West London
Setting: Sixth Form College
Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Days: 4 days per week (excluding Wednesdays)

DBS: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service ESSENTIAL
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teaching Assistant to support Level 3 Health & Social Care students at a sixth form college in Ladbroke Grove.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Level 3 Health & Social Care students through 1:1 and small-group sessions.
- Assist students with coursework, assignments and understanding course content.
- Use your subject knowledge and professional experience to help students develop their knowledge and skills.
- Work alongside teaching staff to support student progress and engagement.
- Provide encouragement and guidance to help students build confidence and independence.
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – ESSENTIAL
- A degree, qualification or relevant professional background in Health & Social Care, Nursing, Social Work or another relevant health-related field.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Social Care.
- Experience supporting students or young people is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, supportive and student-focused approach.
- All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
