We’re working with a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Hackney who are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs. You’ll be right at the heart of the classroom, offering consistent, nurturing support to pupils with special educational needs, helping them feel safe, understood, and ready to engage with learning in their own way.

  • Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Adapting learning activities to meet individual needs and learning styles
  • Supporting emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviour strategies
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCPs and support plans
  • Creating a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support their confidence and independence
