We're working with a well-established primary school in Uxbridge with a dedicated Specialist Resource Provision (SRP), looking for an experienced SEND Educator to join their team on a long-term basis.

What you'll be working with:

  • Pupils with Autism (ASD), complex needs and communication difficulties
  • A structured SRP environment with clear routines and expectations
  • A mix of 1:1 and small group support
  • Pupils working below age-related expectations, requiring adapted learning

Strong, experienced SEN team who understand behaviour and regulation:

  • Clear systems in place - not reactive or inconsistent
  • Specialist resources and strategies already embedded (visuals, timetables, sensory support)
  • SLT who are visible and actively support the SRP
  • A calm, purposeful environment where staff are supported

Supporting learning through structured, adapted activities:

  • Helping pupils regulate emotions and behaviour using consistent strategies
  • Following and contributing to EHCP targets and progress tracking
  • Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider SEND team
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a SEND school or SRP is essential
  • Strong understanding of Autism, behaviour and communication needs
  • Calm, consistent and resilient approach
  • Someone who knows how to support without escalating situations
  • Reliable and committed - this role needs consistency
