The Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Primary Teacher to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs, helping them reach their full potential in a supportive and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with SEN
- Assess, monitor, and track progress, adapting strategies to ensure every child thrives
- Work closely with parents, colleagues, and external specialists to support children's development
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
- Contribute to the school's SEN provision and participate in relevant planning and reviews
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
- Experience teaching children with a range of SEN, ideally in a primary setting
- Deep understanding of SEND strategies, interventions, and inclusive teaching methods
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Patient, adaptable, and passionate about making a difference in children's lives
