- What you'll be doing
- Teaching Chemistry across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with Key Stage 5 opportunities available in some schools)
- Delivering engaging, well-planned lessons that spark curiosity and inspire a love of Chemistry
- Creating a positive, inclusive classroom where every student feels encouraged to succeed
- Assessing progress, providing meaningful feedback and helping pupils reach their full potential
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to the wider life of the school
What we're looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Chemistry within a secondary school
- Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
- A genuine commitment to helping young people develop confidence and achieve their best
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
