Overview
In this role you will support secondary students across East London to access learning, build confidence, and stay engaged in lessons. You’ll work closely with teachers to deliver 1:1 or small-group support, including SEN needs, and help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom. This position offers long-term, full-time opportunities with ongoing professional development through Protocol Education. A meaningful role with real impact on students’ education and wellbeing.

Responsibilities
- Support students in the classroom across multiple subjects
- Provide 1:1 or small-group support for pupils needing extra help
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation
- Support students with SEN (including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties)
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
- Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Key requirements
- Previous experience with young people or in schools
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
- Patience, supportive attitude, and confidence with secondary students
