We are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and adaptable EYFS Teacher with QTS to work within a Nursery setting in South Woodford, supporting young learners and carrying out full Nursery Practitioner responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about Early Years education and enjoys supporting children’s learning and development in a nurturing environment.
The Role
- Support children’s learning through play-based activities and structured learning
- Deliver engaging EYFS-focused activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Attend to children’s personal, social, and emotional development needs
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive Nursery environment
- Support daily routines including mealtimes, hygiene, and transitions
- Observe, monitor, and record children’s progress and development
- Work closely with Nursery staff, parents, and carers to support each child’s individual needs
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and Nursery policies at all times
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working within EYFS or Nursery settings
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
