We are working closely with inclusive and forward-thinking secondary schools in Haringey that are seeking passionate and committed English Teachers to join their teams on a supply basis. These schools place a strong emphasis on literacy, critical thinking, and student voice, offering well-resourced classrooms, supportive leadership, and a collaborative teaching culture. What you’ll be doing:

  • Planning and delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3–4
  • Supporting students to develop strong literacy, analytical, and communication skills
  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all students
  • Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning, and achievement
  • Contributing to whole-school goals and a collaborative staff culture

You’ll need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English education
  • Experience planning, delivering, and marking lessons at secondary level
  • A sound understanding of the UK secondary curriculum
  • Confident classroom management and strong communication skills
  • A proactive, reflective approach and commitment to professional development
