Overview
We are working with an inclusive school located in the Croydon area.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the educational and social development of students.
- Provide one‑to‑one support to children with special educational needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment.
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching materials to meet each student’s needs.
- Support students in developing social skills and managing behaviour.
- Help with personal care tasks as needed.

Experience
- Previous experience working with children with autism (personal or professional) – essential.

Qualifications
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desired).
- Nursery Nurse qualification (preferred).
- Additional Requirements
- All candidates must have a valid, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
- All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
Benefits & Others
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
