We are seeking enthusiastic 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to work within welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary schools across Southwark.
With both daily supply and long-term opportunities available, this role offers flexibility while providing the chance to make a meaningful impact on a child's educational journey.
The Role
As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you will
Provide dedicated one-to-one support for pupils requiring additional assistance.
Help children access the curriculum and engage positively in lessons.
Support pupils with their academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other school staff.
Encourage confidence, independence, and resilience in learning.
Adapt support strategies to meet the individual needs of each child.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
