The Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and school staff to support pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils during lessons and classroom activities.
• Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Providing additional support to pupils with SEND and other learning needs.
• Helping pupils develop communication, confidence and independence.
• Building positive, professional relationships with pupils.
• Supporting pupils to achieve their learning and development goals.
• Working closely with teachers to create a positive learning environment.
• Encouraging inclusion and ensuring pupils feel supported and valued.
• Assisting with classroom preparation and learning resources.
• Working collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff.
• Following safeguarding and child-protection procedures.
• Supporting positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing.

Relevant experience is desirable for specialist roles, although candidates with strong transferable skills are also encouraged to apply.
