We’re on the lookout for compassionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistants to join schools across Leeds. From primary classrooms to secondary schools and specialist provisions, your next role will depend on your location and preference of setting; we’ll work with you to find the best fit. What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting children and young people with a range of needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, SEMH, physical or learning difficulties)
  • Providing 1:1 support or small group interventions to help pupils thrive
  • Creating a safe, calm and positive learning environment
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to ensure pupils get the support they need
  • Bringing patience, empathy, and encouragement into every day

  • Must have experience working with children or young people with SEND (in school, youth work, personal or voluntary settings)
  • A calm, resilient, and positive approach to supporting pupils
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly
