We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to join a friendly Primary School in the LS7 area of Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable, hands-on individual with previous caretaking, site management, maintenance, or handyman experience who is looking for a part-time morning role.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening and securing the school premises each morning
- Distributing deliveries, parcels, and milk to the relevant areas of the school
- Carrying out general maintenance and basic handyman duties
- Ensuring the site is safe, secure, and well-maintained
- Supporting and overseeing the cleaner working on site during the morning shift
- Reporting any maintenance, security, or health and safety concerns
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a caretaker, site supervisor, maintenance, facilities, or similar role
- Practical DIY and basic maintenance skills
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable working within a school environment
