About the Role
We’re looking for a confident Nursery Lead (Room Leader) to take ownership of a room and support the wider nursery team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced practitioner ready to step up and lead with clarity and consistency. You’ll set the tone—supporting your team, ensuring high standards, and creating an environment where both children and staff thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading a room and supporting day-to-day operations
- Planning and delivering high-quality learning in line with EYFS
- Coaching and supporting practitioners in your team
- Monitoring children’s development and ensuring accurate records
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers
- Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance standards are met
- Supporting the nursery management team with continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification
- Proven experience in a nursery setting (senior/practitioner level)
- Confidence leading a team and setting expectations
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and EYFS
- Organised, proactive, and solution-focused
