We are working with a number of fantastic primary schools across Leeds who are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September. Whether you're looking for full-time, part-time, or long-term opportunities, we have a range of roles available to suit your preferences.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' learning and development across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting class teachers in delivering engaging lessons
- Working with small groups and individual pupils
- Supporting children with additional needs and SEND requirements
- Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom engagement
- Assisting with interventions in literacy and numeracy
- Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
