We're recruiting an Early Years SEND Teacher for a specialist school in North West Leeds, supporting young learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and complex learning difficulties. This is an opportunity to make a lasting difference during the most important stage of a child's development.
What You'll Be Doing
- Planning and delivering engaging, child‑centred EYFS lessons tailored to individual needs
- Supporting children with Autism (ASC), SEMH, communication difficulties, sensory needs, and complex SEND
- Using play‑based and therapeutic approaches to encourage learning, confidence, and independence
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and their families
- Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and wider multidisciplinary teams
- Celebrating progress in all its forms – from first words and social interactions to academic achievements

Qualifications
