What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 with daily classroom tasks
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Working with small groups to reinforce learning in Phonics, Reading, Writing and Maths
- Providing 1:1 support where needed to help pupils stay engaged
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting a supportive classroom environment
- Helping children build confidence, independence and strong social skills
Who we’re looking for:
- Experience in a primary school setting is desirable but not essential
- Someone proactive, reliable and confident working with children
- A clear communicator who can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Adaptable and able to think on their feet in a busy classroom
