The Role
As a History Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire students to develop a passion for History and the wider Humanities.
- Plan and teach ambitious lessons that challenge and support all learners.
- Encourage critical thinking, analysis and independent enquiry.
- Monitor, assess and track student progress effectively.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students to achieve excellent academic outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the department.

We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in History or a related Humanities subject.
- Experience teaching History at secondary level.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent subject knowledge.
- A passion for inspiring young people through History.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to raising attainment and achievement.
