The Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire students to develop a love of reading, writing and communication.
- Plan and deliver ambitious lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities.
- Monitor progress and use assessment effectively to drive achievement.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students in achieving strong academic outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop outstanding teaching and learning.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in English or a related subject.
- Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.

- High expectations of student achievement and behaviour.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to helping every student succeed.
