We are seeking a passionate and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Gateshead. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HLTA to take a key role in supporting teaching, learning, and pupil progress across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Leading whole-class learning with confidence and energy
  • Delivering creative and targeted intervention programmes
  • Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs to succeed
  • Helping children build confidence, resilience, and independence
  • Working closely with teachers to drive progress across school

You Will Need:

  • HLTA qualification (essential)
  • Experience working in a primary school environment
  • A calm, confident and positive approach to behaviour management
  • A passion for inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
  • The ability to inspire children and build strong relationships
