A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Yeading is seeking a compassionate and experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team immediately. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional or behavioural challenges.

The Role

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND
  • Support the implementation of individual learning plans and behaviour strategies
  • Use visual aids, sensory resources and structured routines to support engagement and focus
  • Work closely with teachers, the SENCo and wider support staff to ensure consistency and progress
  • Promote independence, emotional regulation and positive learning behaviours

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEND is essential
  • A calm, patient and nurturing approach
  • Confidence using visual schedules, Now and Next boards and positive reinforcement strategies
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for inclusion and pupil development
